The 2011 Dress for a Cause™ Fashion Show Benefit was a huge success—Thank you to all for your continued support!
Opening the evening, Mary Lou Woodford, Cancer Resource Foundation co-founder, introduced attendees to their host for the evening: Boston’s own Magic 106.7, Candy O’Terry!
After Mary Lou and Candy’s warm welcome, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour featuring two different specialty drinks provided by our wonderful sponsors. Gourmet-inspired hors d’oeuvres were passed while guests roamed the catwalk of the Liberty Hotel.
Also during the Cocktail Hour, guest enjoyed taking pictures at our Photobooth, sponsored by PhotoBooth, Inc, participated in a silent auction featuring items donated by our faithful supporters, and networked with our sponsors and partnering organizations.
With the Cocktail Reception ending at 7:30, guest were then escorted to the Ballroom where they were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and a bag of chocolate truffles.
All-in-all, a great time was had by all!
Sara Campbell Designs | Fashion Show
The 2011 Fashion Show was nothing shy of spectacular, featuring none other than our own healthcare professionals! Models strutted their stuff down the runway, showing off the newest fall fashions by Sara Campbell Designs. All event models were volunteers and work with cancer patients on a daily basis. And to top it all off, the show was complimented by music solos from local artist, Alaycia White, and our own 2011 host, Candy O’Terry.

Candy is a multi-media broadcast professional heard daily on Magic 106.7 and 96.9 Boston Talks and seen weekly on the Emmy Award-winning talent show, Community Auditions.
As the creator and co-host of Magic 106.7’s, Exceptional Women, and the winner of 33 local and national awards for excellence in women’s programming, Candy has truly become an inspiration for all. In addition to her broadcasting career, Candy is a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, and the Pink Rose Foundation. She is committed to helping in the fight to end breast cancer. An avid supporter of the All4One Alliance, Candy is also the founder of the Think Pink Club!
